Three events during Hamilton College's annual Fallcoming weekend, Sept. 29-Oct. 2, will pay tribute to the College's namesake, the first secretary of the treasury, Alexander Hamilton. All events are free and open to the public.
Ceremony Dedicating the Restored Alexander Hamilton Statue Celebrating Alexander Hamilton's connection to Hamilton College, the ceremony will culminate with the unveiling of new lighting at the statue's base, along with a performance by the Buffers. Refreshments will be served.

Exhibition Opening: Hamilton College's Alexander Hamilton Collection
Hamilton College proudly displays its collection of Alexander Hamilton artifacts. Items include original manuscripts and his personal lap desk, along with panels from the New York Historical Society. The Sidney Wertimer Associate Professor of History Douglas Ambrose and Assistant Professor of Government Robert Martin will discuss their new book, The Many Faces of Alexander Hamilton.

Reenactment, Hal Bidlack as Alexander Hamilton
Alexander Hamilton was one of the most influential of the Founding Fathers. His vision and spirit continue to dominate American culture and economics today. A presentation by Hal Bidlack will bring Hamilton alive, providing a real sense of the history of our nation's founding. His portrayal captures the intellect, wit, humor and humanity of this important historical figure.
