Just in time for the start of FebFest 2019, Mother Nature dumped several inches of snow on the Hill. Events kicked off on Feb. 12 with Stan Kolonko of the Ice Farm in Syracuse creating an ice sculpture of a snowflake on Sadove Terrace.
After a green weekend, the arrival of snow enabled students to snowshoe through the Glen, and a food truck rodeo was on tap for Wednesday. Later that night is the grand opening of Bundy Café and Lounge, the newest hang space for students on campus, with various performers.
A chocolate tasting and HamSkate are among highlights of Feb. 14 events, and the always popular Chili Cook-off – the 26th annual – will take place on Saturday, Feb. 16, followed by CAB Comedy with Brent Morin.
