Hamilton College was well represented at the New YorkState Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) Championships held at Union Collegethis past weekend as five athletes were named to the All-NYSCTC Track and Fieldteam, four school-records were broken, two state champions were crowned and onestudent-athlete was named the outstanding field performer of the meet.

Senior Bob Fish, who won the Shot Put with a throw of 14.92 meters, washonored with the outstanding performer award as well as being named to theAll-NYSCTC team. Senior Erin Ersenkal and junior Joe Button, whofinished second (2:36.58) and third (2:37.11) respectively in the 1000 meterrun, were also named All-NYSCTC. For the women, junior Tara Woolford,who was crowned State champion for her school-record 5000 meter time of18:30.67, and freshman Kristin Daly, who finished third in the 500 meterwith a school-record time of 1:22.50, were both named All-NYSCTC. Dalyteamed with Katie McAuliffe, Leslie Vars and Emily Hill tofinished fourth in the 3200 meter relay (10:12.21), also a school-record),while McAuliffe, Vars, Hill and Janet Davis set aschool-mark with a time of 13:28.31 in the women's distance medley relay. Thefinal school-record that was set was by Waltnel Sosa, who tied theprevious mark with a distance of 6.65 meters in the long jump.
