The Hamilton College football team was defeated by Wesleyan  University, 37-10 on Saturday. The Continentals gained 307 yards of total offense.

Offensively Hamilton was able to run an even mixture of run and pass. The Continentals ran the ball 43 times for 130 yards and passed the ball 34 times for 177 yards. Leading the way on the ground was junior Elijah Huling who had 71 yards on 19 carries. Freshman James Trummer ran the ball 10 times for 47 yards and scored Hamilton's lone touchdown. Brandon Holtslag rushed the ball eight times from the quarterback position for 11 yards.

Hamilton's quarterback tandem of Greg LiVigne and Brandon Holtslag combined to complete 52.9 percent of their passes to eight different receivers. Holtslag completed 12 of 25 passes for 121 yards and an interception and LiVigne completed 6 of 9 passes for 56 yards. Their primary receiver was tight end Kevin Conole. The junior receiver caught five passes for 42 yards. Junior Ragnar Gearhart and freshman William Carey caught three passes apiece.

Jasen Wright, Marcus Juba, Peter Simon, Sam Bowlby and Chris Slama each had seven tackles to lead Hamilton. Bowlby had two tackles for a loss and a sack, while Chris Smith had four tackles and three sacks. Freshman linebacker Jeremy Kozak made four tackles and had an interception.
