Forty-Three North is a new student-reviewed journal that showcases the best critical writing by Hamilton students in the humanities and the arts.
The name Forty-Three North comes from Hamilton's latitudinal address, itself a point of cultural and academic convergence and divergence. Forty-Three North is an interdisciplinary journal, housed in the Department of Comparative Literature, which aims to explore scholarship across a diverse range of disciplines from literary studies to art history, the study of languages, philosophy, the arts and more.
Hamilton students are encouraged to submit critical papers to fortythreenorth@gmail.com that are written in, but not limited to these fields.
