Assistant Professor of Classics Jesse Weiner recently presented a paper titled “Foucault’s Campus: A Few Thoughts on College in the Time of COVID” at the virtual annual meeting of the Southern Humanities Council.
The talk was part of a panel dedicated to how college and university life has been reimagined during the pandemic. Weiner analyzed university life during the 2020-21 academic year through the lens of Michel Foucault’s thoughts on the politics of public health.
