Students enrolled in beginning and intermediate-level French courses recently performed at the biannual Francophone Festival. They read poems and performed skits and songs, including some original work. The event was organized by the French and Francophone Studies Department.
Special guest Genticorum, a folk music trio from Quebec, played interactive songs in French and taught the audience traditional Quebec dances.
As part of a larger New York Six French and Francophone Studies partnership, students and professors from Union College’s French Department also participated in the festivities.
