Her paper was about the impact of tutoring on students' satisfaction and confidence in appointments run by tutors both within and outside of the student's discipline.
In addition, Breeze Petty ’24 presented a paper on the impact of a winter intensive program organized by the Oral Communication Center. This paper earned Petty the Bob and Ann Weiss Award for an undergraduate paper that contributes to scholarly activity focused on communication centers.
Petty was also honored with the National Communication Association's Outstanding Undergraduate Tutor award.
The National Association of Communication Centers (NACC) is an organization devoted to the support of communication centers on college and university campuses across the country.
