Lisa Feuerstein ’10, Leila Malcom ’10, and Megan Fung ’10 presented posters at the Northeastern/Southeastern Geological Society of America Joint Section Meeting held in Baltimore on March 15. All three were in the Geologic Education and History session of the conference.

Feuerstein’s poster was titled “The Development and Implementation of Geological Enrichment Education for Fourth Grade Students at the Clinton Elementary School.” Fung presented her work titled “A Paleontology Enrichment Program for Third Graders at the Clinton Elementary School in Clinton, New York.”  Malcom’s research detailed “New Case Study Sites on Cape Cod for a Coastal Geology & Environmental Oceanography Course Project.”

The work presented by the students was based on their senior theses with Prof. Cynthia Domack in the Hamilton College Geosciences Department.
