
Barbara Gold, Edward North Professor of Classics, participated in a panel to launch a book that she co-edited, Roman Literature, Gender and Reception: Domina Illustris (Routledge 2013).
The panel was held at the University of Maryland. She spoke about the genesis of the book and about her contribution to the volume, “ ‘And I Became a Man’: Gender Fluidity and Closure in Perpetua’s Prison Narrative.”
