Gordon Kaye ’74, editor and publisher of Graphic Design USA, has been selected by the Alumni Council as the new president of the Alumni Association, succeeding John Hadity ’83. His term began July, 2015.

At Hamilton, Kaye was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Pentagon. He majored in government before earning a joint degree in law and public policy from Princeton University and Columbia University Law School.

In 1990, after holding positions at a Wall Street law firm and as a senior general attorney at the NBC Television Network, he joined the small family publishing business where he currently oversees the Graphic Design USA business-to-business magazine, e-newsletters, website, blog and several national design competitions in graphic, corporate, package, web and healthcare design.

Kaye is a frequent speaker at graphic arts industry events, and served as a trustee or advisor for several industry groups. A member of the Alumni Council since 2008, most recently serving chair of the Nominations Committee,  and has been  very active in HART. Kaye and his wife Susan Lewis Kaye K’75 have two daughters, including Sasha ’05.
