In February, Hamilton's Town-Gown Fund awarded $15,000 to Kirkland Trails, a grass-roots organization seeking to develop biking and hiking trails using existing canal and railroad paths in the town.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the new trail was held on Oct. 7 at the Dugway Road entrance.

The $400 million campaign to provide students with a life-altering education.
