Professor of English and Creative Writing Naomi Guttman read from her work in Philadelphia on Oct. 15 as a guest of The University of the Arts’ Visiting Writers Series.
Guttman’s novella-in-verse, The Banquet of Donny & Ari: Scenes from the Opera, was published by Brick Books in the spring. She is also the author of two poetry collections. Wet Apples, White Blood (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2007) was the co-winner of the Adirondack Center for Writers’ Best Book of Poems for 2007, and Reasons for Winter (Brick Books, 1991) won the A.M. Klein Award for Poetry in 1992.
