
Associate Professor of English Naomi Guttman will speak and read from recent works in an appearance at St. Lawrence University on Thursday, April 5, at 8 p.m. in the Sykes Common Room, as part of the University's Writers Series.
Guttman's Reasons for Winter won the A.M. Klein Award for Poetry and was short-listed for the League of Canadian Poets' Pat Lowther Memorial Award. A new book of poems, Wet Apples, White Blood, was just published by McGill-Queen's University Press. Her work has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including Southern Poetry Review, Connecticut Review and Sad Little Breathings & Other Acts of Ventriloquism.
