Three 2003 Hamilton graduates, Ali Cherry, Sarah Karpinski and Andrew Magoun are embarking on an philanthropic journey in Washington, D.C.  As 'Team Hamilton' they have just reached the half-way mark in training for the Marine Corps Marathon, which will take place on Halloween this fall.  As part of the Team in Training program of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, they have  committed to raise funds to help increase awareness and find a cure for these debilitating and often fatal diseases.

In a recent letter to the Alumni Office they relayed that:
"We recognize that unfortunately the Hamilton Community is affected by the loss caused by blood cancers and does, in fact benefit from progress made with our efforts.   Our hope is that we can share the stories that touch the Hamilton Community and, ultimately help further the mission of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Please help us raise awareness about the need to find a cure for blood cancers by e-mailing us with your stories and donating to our cause.  Our emails and mailing address are below.  Thank you for your help and generosity."

Sincerely,
Ali Cherry '03
Sarah Karpinski '03
Andrew Magoun '03
