
The Hamilton College and Community Masterworks Chorale and Symphoria will perform Franz Joseph Haydn’s The Seasons on Tuesday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.
Conducted by G. Roberts Kolb, the concert will feature soloists Lauralyn Kolb, soprano; David Parks, tenor; and Timothy LeFebvre, baritone.
First performed in Vienna on April 24, 1801, The Seasons is an oratorio in four parts – Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. It is considered Haydn’s “other” great oratorio. Hamilton College will present a new English version by G. Roberts Kolb.
