Michael Schantz scored 17 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to lead Hamilton to its third consecutive win to start the season. The Continentals jumped out to a 13-2 lead and held a 19-point advantage early in the second half, but Skidmore closed to within eight at 59-51 with 5:59 remaining. But J.J. Raedts scored six of Hamilton's final ten points to seal the victory for the Continentals. Kevin Thorpe (VVS) added 10 points, while Raedts and Kevin Larson chipped in nine apiece. T.C. Coleman had 20 points and David Burch 16 points and 11 rebounds for Skidmore, which drops to 1-4.
