Two curling teams from Hamilton are still in action in Bowling Green, Ohio, at the annual Great Lakes Regional College Curling Tournament. Both have fared very well to this point, with each team reaching the A-event semi-finals. Follow all the action here on Sunday at 10 a.m., and, if either team advances to the final, at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The tournament started with 24 teams, but is now down to four.

Hamilton Blue (skip Dave Hamilton, vice Tom Irvin, second Yuqi Mao and lead Katherine Alser) reached the A-event playoffs by winning each of their three qualifying games, defeating Lawrence Technical 11-4 on Friday, RIT 12-7 on Saturday morning, and Bowling Green State University 12-1 on Saturday evening. Hamilton Buff (skip Tom Helmuth, vice Deborah Barany and lead Lindsay Shankman) reached as the wild card, falling Friday night to RIT 9-8 in extra ends, but recovering to beat Lawrence Technical Saturday morning 8-3, and a different Bowling Green team 6-4. The team's superior tiebreak score enabled them to reach the A-event.
