Hamilton College remained in the top 10 in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Top 20 poll released on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

NFHCA D3 Poll Sept. 26

The Continentals (5-2 overall) slipped just one spot to No. 9 after they were edged 1-0 at Connecticut College on Sept. 23 in a NESCAC game they dominated with a 17-2 shot advantage. Hamilton returned to the win column with a convincing 6-1 non-conference victory against Utica College at Goodfriend Field on Tuesday night. The Continentals are averaging nearly 3.5 goals per game.

Michaela Giuttari '20 is tied for the NESCAC lead with 10 goals and is second in the conference with 21 points. Sarah Pierpont '21 has scored three goals and four Hamilton players have two goals each. Tatiana Bradley'19 leads the Continentals with four assists and is second with eight points. Julia Booth '19 (1.86 GAA, .658 save pct.) has played all but 10 minutes in goal.

Hamilton is tied for second in the NESCAC standings with a 3-1 conference record. The Continentals host Wesleyan on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. and No. 6 Tufts on Sunday, Oct. 1 at noon in a pair of NESCAC games. Tufts is 4-0 in the conference.
