Hamilton's Mock Trial Team is heading to the AMTA (American Mock Trial Association) national championships in Waukegan, Ill., the weekend of March 16-18, during Spring Break. The members of Hamilton's qualifying team are Joshua Agins '07, Larry Allen '09, Michael Blasie '07, Scott Iseman '07, Wenxi Li '10, Stuart Lombardi '09, Alia Rehman '10 and Stacy Sadove '07.
The team qualified via the Regional Championships held at Syracuse University in February. Five teams qualified: two Harvard teams, Cornell, the University of Rochester, and Hamilton. At the qualifier, Hamilton's team handed the Harvard team its only two losses of the competition.
Sixty-four teams from across the country will compete for the national championship on March 16- 18. All four rounds for both divisions of the National Tournament will be held at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan, Ill.
