Hamilton College participated in the 5th International Conference and Workshops on Technology and Chinese Language Teaching in the 21st Century (TCLT5) at the University of Macau in June. It was co-sponsored by the University of Macau and Hamilton's President's Office, Dean's Office and the East Asian Languages and Literatures Department.

The three-day conference included seven plenary keynote speeches, 64 panel discussions in three parallel sessions and four hands-on workshops. The 131 participants came from seven different countries and areas. Professor of Chinese De Bao Xu represented Hamilton and gave a welcome speech and an overview of the TCLT conference series.

TCLT5 is the fifth time since 2000 that Hamilton College sponsored and organized the international conference. As more and more participants worldwide join TCLT conferences and workshops, Hamilton has become well-known as the leader in technology-based language teaching and cultural diversity.
