HAMILTON STUDENT AWARDED BEINECKE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Tatreau was one of 17 award recipients from a field of 51 nominations. Thescholarship consists of a $2,000 stipend to be used as she wishes, and $15,000per year for two years of her graduate study in classics.
The Edwin, Frederick and Walter Beinecke Memorial Scholarship program wasestablished by the board of directors of the Sperry Hutchinson Company tocommemorate the three Beinecke brothers who led the company for more than 50years. Since 1975, more than 180 college juniors from 72 different schoolshave been awarded scholarships for graduate education.
