Four Hamilton students on an Alternative Spring Break trip in Biloxi, Miss., were among volunteers interviewed for a news segment on WLOX-TV (3/16/09). The ABC affiliate featured Hamilton students, along with some from Winthrop University in South Carolina, in the piece about ongoing hurricane relief projects. The students are painting houses and clearing lots.
In the segment Andrew Menges '12 said, "Last year, my high school went down to New Orleans and helped out with Habitat for Humanity. And we only went a couple of days. So, I figured a whole week would be even better."
