The Hamilton College Department of Theatre presents "Stone Cold Dead Serious," a high-octane romp across the wastelands of American suburbia. The play, written by Adam Rapp, tells the story of the Ledbetters, an average dysfunctional family of dropouts, junkies, and QVC addicts. When their teenage son, Wynne, reaches the finals of a national video game contest, he embarks on an odyssey to New York City that pits him against deadly video game figures and threatens to bring the Ledbetters crashing to their post-nuclear knees. Please note: This play contains explicit language and sexual content not suitable for children.

This hilarious and heartbreaking drama opens Thursday, April 12, at 8 p.m. in the college's Minor Theatre. Other performance times include: Friday, April 13 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, April 14 at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Wednesday, April 18 - Saturday April 21, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 for senior citizens and students.
