Hamilton College will sponsor a team in this year's America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk on Saturday, March 5. Members of the Hamilton community are encouraged to sign up to participate.
America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk is a great opportunity to get some exercise, win prizes, serve the community and represent Hamilton College. Even more importantly, it's a chance to raise money to support the American Heart Association's fight against heart disease -- our nation's number one killer.
As a Heart Runner/Walker, you'll get sponsors who pay in advance for your participation in the Run/Walk. Based on the amount of money you are able to raise, you become eligible to win terrific prizes while supporting the important work of the American Heart Association. You can participate in one of the runs (30K, 10 miles, 5 miles or 3 miles) or one of the walks (5 miles or 3 miles). Last year we had a total of 107 participants who raised $5,073. Our goal is to beat that record with more participants raising more money!
