Golf Coach Lauren Cupp '07 Claims State and National Golf Titles

Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach and Associate Professor of Physical Education Lauren Cupp ’07 captured both a state and national golf championship in the same week.

Cupp claimed the New York State Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship at Pinehaven Country Club on July 20 to 21, earning her second career state mid-amateur title. Less than a week later, she traveled to California and won the United States Speedgolf Open at Temecula Creek Golf Club on July 25 to 26, securing her sixth U.S. Speedgolf Open championship.

The victory also earned her a spot on Team USA for the upcoming Speedgolf World Championships in New Zealand.
