Hamilton’s Opportunity Programs took part in the New York Student Aid Alliance Advocacy Day in Albany on Feb. 13. This Advocacy Day rally, an annual event at the New York State Capitol, is a time for students from across the state to meet and speak with legislators about the importance of student aid programs like the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP), the NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), and other Opportunity Programs.
The gathering provides an opportunity for students to tell their personal stories, describing what being an HEOP student means to them.
