An evening of remembrance, including a slideshow and readings by students and faculty, will be held to commemorate theHolocaust/Yom Hashoah, on Wednesday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m., in the FilliusEvents Barn. The event is free and open to the general public.
The program will honor women who resisted the Holocaust and the consequencesof their actions. The tribute is organized by Melanie Kaye/Kantrowitz,professor of women's studies, and the Women and the Holocaust seminar. Formore information, call 859-4439.
