Erik Jacobsen '97, with his faculty advisor Professor of Geology Eugene Domack, published a paper in the Bulletin in Quaternary and Geomorphology. This paper, "Late Pleistocene-Holocene retreat of the West Antarctic Ice-Sheet System in the Ross Sea: Part 2 - Sedimentologic and Stratigraphic Signature," has been nominated for the prestigious Geological Society of America Kirk Bryan Award. This award is given for a paper or book published within the past five years and is awarded at the annual GSA meeting.
