Carolyn Hutchinson

The board of directors of the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation recently approved a proposal submitted by Assistant Professor of Chemistry Carolyn Hutchinson for the Jean Dreyfus Lectureship for Undergraduate Institutions program for 2025.

The program is designed to bring a leading chemical sciences researcher to campus to give at least two lectures – a general interest lecture that is open to the public, and at least one or more technical presentations designed for faculty and undergraduate audiences on campus.

According to the terms of the program, upon Hutchinson’s acceptance and activation of the award, the College will receive a grant to help with costs associated with the lectures and also provide funding for two summer research student fellowships.
