Freshman guard Jenny Russell (Pawling, NY/Pawling) continued to shine for Hamilton this past week, picking up Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA) and New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Rookie of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. The NESCAC award is her third of the season.

Russell averaged 25.5 points per game and shot better than 50% from the field (17-of-33), 50 % from three-point land (6-of-12) and 84.6% from the foul line (11-of-13).

She leads Hamilton in scoring, amassing more than 300 points this season (304). She is currently second in the UCAA in scoring, averaging 16 points per game. Russell is also the league leader with 49 three-point baskets.

The Continentals' record stands at 2-20 with two games remaining. They face Middlebury on the road Tuesday, February 23 at 7:30p.m., before closing their season out at home versus Williams Saturday, February 27 at 6 p.m.
