Jess Buttery
Jess Buttery, assistant professor of instruction in theatre and production manager for the Theatre Department, was invited to present at Glimmerglass Opera’s prestigious Apprenticeship Program.

Buttery co-led a workshop on careers in theatre management with Peggy Carey, associate production manager at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and Christian Shaefer, operations manager for Glimmerglass. The session explored alternative pathways in theatre management, particularly those branching from stage management, a common entry point for undergraduates.

Glimmerglass’ annual summer program offers emerging professionals hands-on training, mentorship, and seminars across a variety of theatrical disciplines.
