
Associate Dean of Students for Diversity Berenecea Johnson spoke on "New Inspiration for the Nation," a program broadcast on WPHR Power 106.9 FM in Auburn, N.Y. on Sunday, March 12. She addressed "What are the factors that affect the academic success of African American students in high school and beyond?"
Earlier in the week, Johnson participated in a diversity panel at Pace University with four other experts from various industries. The panel addressed successful strategies with which to face diversity-related challenges. Johnson also served as the opening speaker at the Georgia Association of Special Programs Personnel Inc.'s Fifth Annual Student Initiative Weekend on Friday, March 10. The title of her remarks was "Youth on the Move Taking the World by Storm."
