Jon Santemma ’87 recently retired from banking at Jefferies Global Banking investment firm to start a private equity firm. Santemma was Jefferies’ managing director and global head of healthcare investment banking for the New York branch.

After more than 22 years working on Wall Street, Santemma will become a founding partner of the new private equity firm Regal Healthcare Capital Partners. The firm focuses on high-growth healthcare services companies. In addition to his new position at Regal, Santemma will continue as a temporary consultant to Jefferies to help with selected transactions.
Santemma began his career as an M&A/corporate finance associate at Skadden Arps. He continued on to become a director in the healthcare IB group at Citi Bank. In 2009 he made the move to Jefferies.
