Derek Jones, the Irma M. and Robert D. Morris Professor of Economics, co-authored an article titled “Comparative Efficiency Between Cooperative, Savings and Commercial Banks in Europe Using The Frontier Approach” in the Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics.

Jones and his co-author Mikko Makinen of Finland’s Aalto University presented the results of a study of institutional differences in cost inefficiency in a group of European banks.
