Professor of History (Russian and Eurasian) Shoshana Keller spoke to a class of foreign service officers on their way to work in Central Asia on June 24. The group read and discussed excerpts from her recent book Russia and Central Asia: Coexistence, Conquest, Convergence (Toronto, 2020).
The lecture was part of an intensive course on Central Asia given by the Area Studies Division of the Foreign Service Institute of the U.S. Dept. of State.
