In a Reuters News article titled "YouTube gets candidates loosened up . . . sort of; With a new medium and format, some questions were frivolous, but the debate was traditional," government professor Philip Klinkner shared his views on the novel CNN/YouTube Democratic presidential debate conducted this week.
Klinkner's remarks seemingly spawned the Reuter's article headline. "The questions were a little bit farther a field than what you would get from a normal debate. There was sort of a frivolous air about it that made (the candidates) loosen up a bit," said Klinkner. The article has been published by papers in the United States and Canada as well as other countries around the world.
