Philip Klinkner.

Philip Klinkner, the James S. Sherman Professor of Government, will offer real-time analysis of  the latest election results during a live webcast next Tuesday night.

Klinkner, who has been quoted in numerous media outlets leading up to Election Day, will be offering his perspectives on the campaign and the election returns from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on  Nov. 8. Interested viewers can watch live online.

Most recently The Economist referenced Klinkner's research in a Nov. 5 article titled "What's going on — Support for Donald Trump from white working-class is not what it seems."

The article detailed Klinkner’s analysis of data from the 2016 American National Election Study –first published in Vox – which included his finding that the most accurate way to pick a Trump supporter is to ask him whether he thinks President Obama is a Muslim.
