Photos from In God’s House by Assistant Professor of Art Rob Knight will be featured in two exhibitions in Syracuse, N.Y., this fall.

A three-year project, In God’s House examines the changing nature of structures used for ritual gatherings, focusing on religious spaces that represent a state of transition in some way.

Selections from the project are included in the 2016 Light Work Grants in Photography group exhibition that runs through Oct. 22 at Light Works. A reception is planned for Friday, Oct. 7, from 6-8 p.m., at the gallery, located at 316 Waverly Ave.

In God’s House will also be featured in a solo exhibit opening Saturday, Nov. 19, at ArtRage Gallery. Knight will present a gallery talk on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. The exhibition closes Jan. 21, 2017. ArtRage Gallery is located at 505 Hawley Ave.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
