Assistant Professor of Sociology Jaime Kucinskas published a review of Momin Rahman's 2014 book Homosexualities, Muslim Cultures and Modernity in the journal Contemporary Sociology. The book examines how the rising tide of contemporary Western gay-rights activism intersects with and reinforces the post-9/11 Western spike in Islamophobia.
