After the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill in Congress to ease the offshore drilling ban, Eric Kuhn '09 spoke with Washington D.C. environmental lobbyist Martin Hayden on his reaction to the legislation for an article in the Huffington Post. Hayden is vice president of policy and legislation for Earthjustice, one of the largest non-profit public interest law firms "dedicated to protecting the magnificent places, natural resources and wildlife of this earth, and to defending the right of all people to a healthy environment." Kuhn also asked Hayden for his response about a recent Wall Street Journal editorial that mentioned Earthjustice.
