Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology Jaime Kucinskas presented her research at the 2014 Society for the Scientific Study of Religion annual conference in Indianapolis. She studied how strategic meditators had to be to bring their Buddhist-inspired practices into their work in science, education, the military, healthcare and business.
Kucinskas' research team also presented on how, where and with whom people experience God, based on data collected daily through smart phones over a two-week period.
