Professor of Government Robert Martin presented "Habermas, Post-Modern Agonism and the Early American Public Sphere" at the Inagural Conference of the Association for Political Theory, held at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Oct.17. Martin presented his paper as part of the panel on "American Roots." Martin is alsoa founding member of the Association for Political Theory.
