Hamilton's Faculty Support Specialist Janet Simons, Director of Instructional Technology Support Service Nikki Reynolds and Director of Public Service Carolyn Carpan, and Dave Baird of Colgate University, presented on the Media Scholarship Collaboration among Hamilton, Colgate University, and St. Lawrence University at two recent conferences.
They spoke at the NITLE IT Leaders Conference at Ursinus College and at the NITLE Summit in Philadelpia. The Media Scholarship collaboration is supported by a grant from the NITLE Instructional Innovation Fund to the Moving Images Collaborative.
The IT Leaders and NITLE Summit events are for campus leaders seeking a venue for substantive, high-level collaboration that will help them advance their institutions in the midst of economic challenge. Participants gain a rich opportunity to network with peers from smaller, undergraduate-centered institutions as well as share information and receive feedback about their institutions' efforts to use digital technology to advance their teaching and learning missions.
