Men Advocating Change (MAC) present White Ribbon Week April 14 to 18. The purpose of this week is for men to advocate ending physical, sexual and verbal violence against women. Wearing a white ribbon symbolizes a man's personal pledge never to commit, condone nor remain silent about violence against women. This week's goals also include educating about sexual assault, an issue that suffers from a serious lack of attention on college campuses.
On Friday, April 18, MAC will have a Shout Out: End Violence Against Women on the steps of Burke Library at 4:15 p.m., weather permitting. There will be speakers addressing the struggle to end men's aggression toward women.
