Hamilton's Mock Trial team recently participated in the Opening Round Championship Site tournament hosted by Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. All rounds took place at the Northampton County Courthouse in Easton. Competition participants included Larry Allen '09, Casey Green '09, Teddy McBride '10, Evan Klondar '11, Mike Nguyen '11, Antonia Farzan '11, Tyler Roberts '12, Caitlin Tuten-Rhodes '12 and Julia Goldstein '12.
Team captain Evan Klondar reported that Hamilton placed 20th at the competition but that the team was very competitive throughout. The team on the whole is young with only two seniors, Casey Green and Larry Allen. Klondar said, "It was my first time at a nationals competition, and the level everyone performed at was much higher than at the regional competition. We all had a really good time, too -- it was a great experience both to compete and to learn."
