The only activity that captivated my attention this week was planning my trip to Hamilton.  The longer I am away from the Hill, the more I miss the subtleties of living on campus.  While I was driving upstate this weekend, I noticed that the buildings of NYC quickly transform into mountains and pastures of grassy land.  I can appreciate the upstate terrain more because I know I won't be living in such an environment in the future.  While I have grown to love living in a small town such as Clinton, it seems like NYC keeps calling me back. 

While I can see myself having a home in the Catskills, each day I discover more reasons to raise my family in New York City.  I just can't detach myself from the place that provided me with so many great experiences for so many years.    As I drove back from Hamilton, I decided that if I need some "country" life, I'd just stroll through Central Park and feed the ducks.
