Professor of Art Bruce Muirhead has two paintings in a show titled "Urban Landscapes" that opened on Friday, Dec. 7, at Susan Maasch Fine Art, a gallery in Portland, Maine. There will be a reception at the gallery on Friday, Jan. 4, which is free open to the public. The exhibition will be open through January.
The subjects of both Muirhead paintings are old abandoned factory buildings in Utica and Richfield Springs. Other artists participating in this exhibition include Richard Estes, Todd Watts, Yvonne Jacquette, Richard Haas, Rackstraw Downes, Rush Brown, Christina Goodwin, David Kapp and Robert Solotaire.
