Professor of Music Michael ("Doc") Woods and Professor of Music Samuel Pellman presented works at the Everson Museum in Syracuse on Sept. 21 for a concert by the Society for New Music.
Woods played bass in a small ensemble of Society musicians in a performance of his 2011 work, "Libations," which he describes as "pan-tonal funky chamber music." Pellman presented a computer-generated composition entitled "Guirlandes," which included video created with software developed with students in Professor Stuart Hirshfield's Fall 2013 CPSCI 410 class.
