What makes New York City the most global city in the world? The answer to this question has a lot to do with the infrastructure of services that the City provides for the domestic market, and more importantly the world. It is this service industry that attracts people, culture, and commerce from all over the globe.

New York is the hub of all financial activity of the world. With 70% or more wealth of the world being owned by multinational corporations, the global financial headquarters of these organizations is based in New York. The reason being that the major investment banks and financial institutions are located here. The technological innovations are changing so drastically that these financial institutions are coming up with new growth-enhanced vehicles and instruments to aid in the investment and operating activities of the multinational corporations. It is ironic that as activities become global and outsourcing is becoming a major operation for firms, the global headquarters are based in New York.

Apart from being a financial hub providing so many innovative technologies and gathering global data, New York attracts people from all over the world to analyze that data in the most economically efficient manner as possible. Who else would be better aware and able to decipher monetary data from Brazil in the light of cultural and social aspects, than an analyst from Brazil?

Given the demand for global analysts, New York attracts people from all over the world. A fast growing city, coupled innovative financial and technological advancements, gives rise to a dynamic conglomerate of cultures. One can find diverse cultural communities and restaurants all over the City and the surrounding islands like Queens and Brooklyn to name a few.

It is these few aspects that makes New York City one of the most dynamic and global cities of the world. These journals will be exploring the various cultural experiences that can benefit from. Apart from the trade and commerce, it is the people that make the City a globally rich and diverse city of the world.
